As others have said, it literally means “God wills it”. Some people believe that giving someone praise or a compliment can bring on bad luck or the “evil eye”. For Muslims who believe this, it is good to say “Masha Allah” to prevent this from happening. I’m not a Muslim, however, so I’m hoping someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

Answer: It means, "May Allah bless you". ️. 🖤 Directly to a Person: BarakAllahu feek/feekum (may Allah bless you). 🖤 If direct person is Female: BarakAllahu feeki (may Allah bless you). 🖤 To a Male (as a third person): Allahumma Barrik lahu (may Allah bless him).
As for MashaAllah, you could say it. It’s also something that arab Christians and many other non Muslims say! As far as I know, nothing wrong with that! (Allah = God). If you are worried about evil eye etc tho, the correct thing to say would be “Allahumma barik”, meaning “May God bless you”.

They said to him: “Teach us.” He said: “Say: ‘Allahumma aj’al salataka wa rahmataka wa barakatika ‘ala sayyidil-mursalin wa imamil-muttaqin wa khatamin- nabiyyin, Muhammad ‘abdika wa Rasulika imamil-khayri (wa qa’idil- khair), wa Rasulir-Rahmah. Allahummab’athhu maqaman mahmudan yaghbituhu bihil-awwaluna wal-akhirun. . 328 62 445 366 311 438 439 191
